Lisa Pixley and Christopher Campbell and their two dogs moved to Whitefield, Maine to build their dream studio in the 1871 Parish Meeting Hall building.

Lisa is an artist printmaker that studied painting at the Maine College of Art and Design and went on to study letterpress printmaking with Master Printer, David Wolfe. Lisa founded Pickwick Independent Press, a community access printshop in downtown Portland and went on to start PrintCraft, a Private studio Boutique. Lisa taught printmaking at the University of New England for seven years and continues to teach public and private workshops. Lisa also has a robust art and design practice.

Her husband Cristopher studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. Christopher has built a strong private practice over the years building sustainable homes, often in rough, rugged locations. Throughout the 2000’s Christopher was the owner manager of the Artist Studios in Portland. He played a shepherding role in the founding of Space Gallery located in the Artist Studio Building and served on its board for 15 years. Christopher was the co-founder of One Longfellow Square Music Hall in Portland’s West End. Currently, Christopher is a co-owner of Maine Cap N’ Stem Co., a mushroom farm in Gardiner/Lewiston.
