Grand Army Arts Print Studio is a well appointed  Relief, Drypoint, and Monoprint Studio.

Over the years of teaching and mastering these crafts we’ve eliminated the most toxic of materials and found we were still quite satisfied with what we could make and what we could offer. We will be opening for Workshops, Residencies, Masterprinting, Private tutoring, and Solo Access (after proof of skills and a workshop).

There will be a more crystalized break down in rates and hours coming soon as we product test things.

(Are you a skilled printer and want in on the Grand Ground Floor of us figuring things out? We would love to collaborate with printers who wanted to bring their skills to Grand Army Arts. Want to do a print residency? Teach a workshop? Take a workshop?)

We are open, but still new, and still figuring out who we are to this community. We’d love to hear from you with your ideas.

Takach

For monoprint, drypoint, etching*, and lithography* we have a Tackach 34” x 60” floor model combination press. (Set up as an etching press)

*We will not provide acid etch supplies, though we can negotiate their use with a skilled printer. We have adequate ventilation for a ferric chloride bath and spit bite technique.

*We have the press and print head for lithography should there be someone who wanted to bring those skills to Grand Army Arts!

conrad machine

Also for Monoprint, Drypoint and Etching (limited) we have the Conrad Machine 24” x 40” Monotype Press.
